Purbeck Rally – a show with something for all the family!
Over
the years Purbeck Rally has gained a reputation for being the friendliest
rally in the area, and this year’s volunteer committee have been working
hard behind the scenes to create a great show for the rally goers, both
visitors and exhibitors.
This year you will be
able to see
Wessex
Bird of Prey Rescue in the arena giving a flying display using a
selection of Falcons, Hawks, Buzzards and Owls on
both Saturday and Sunday. You will be able to see the birds and talk
to the rescue centres volunteers at their static display. |

We are very excited to announce that Ken Fox will
bring his amazing Wall of Death show to Purbeck Rally this year.
This exciting show first appeared in the United Kingdom in 1929, the
Wall of Death is indeed one of the last great live shows and Ken Fox
is recognised as the World's Leading Wall of Death Rider with
numerous television appearances to his credit, including ITV's
Heartbeat, You Bet and the BBC One Show. |

A wide range of exhibits are
on display over the three day duration. Vintage & Classic cars, motor
cycles, trucks and a display of military vehicles and equipment, and many
types stationary engines.
There will be collections of
bygones where the collectors will be glad to talk to you about what they
have on display. New this year we will have a Rural and Old time area
where you will be able to see displays and demonstrations of a range of
rural and country crafts and machinery. Not forgetting a craft marquee.
In the trade area
there will be many stalls selling everything from boat trailers to
knitting needles. Autojumblers come from far and wide to buy and sell at
Purbeck Rally, so you never know what you may find in the stalls area.
When you are feeling weary
you will find refreshment at the beer tent and something tasty from the
caterers. There will of course be amusements for the kids and ice creams

Rescue will be holding a Family Dog Show on Sunday so bring your family
dog and have a go.
